Scheduling, Check In and Cancellations

  • All massage sessions are by appointment only; no “drop-ins” are accepted. All visits must be scheduled in advance.
  • The confirmation call for appointments is provided as a courtesy. The Client is expected to take full responsibility for keeping the appointments whether a confirmation call is received or not.
  • A 24-hour cancellation notice is required to avoid being charged in full for your scheduled appointment. This includes no-shows. In the event the Client is late, he/she is expected to call as soon as possible and understand that the appointment time will shortened. There is no compensation for a late start regardless of the situation. If the Client is more than ten minutes late, the appointment may be cancelled unless he/she has called ahead to have it held.

Payment Policies

  • Session fees will be paid at each appointment by either check or cash only.
  • If paid by check and the check bounces, there will be a $25.00 service fee, as well as any additional fines the Massage Therapist may incur.

Client/Therapist Policies

  • All information given on the Intake Form must be correct and up-to-date including all known medical conditions and prescription drugs. The Client is expected to update this information as needed during subsequent visits.
  • The Massage Therapist does not diagnose illness, disease or any physical or mental disorders; does not prescribe medical or pharmaceutical treatment; and does not treat for any illness, ailment or disease. Massage treatments provided by the Therapist are for stress reduction and relieve of muscular tension or spasm, and is not a substitute for medical examinations, treatments, and/or diagnosis. It is highly recommended to see a physician for any ailments.
  • Attention to body hygiene and cleanliness is essential and the Client is expected to arrive to appointments clean and sober. For the safety of both Client and Therapist, it is not acceptable to receive bodywork while under the influence of alcohol or illicit drugs of any type.
  • The Client will always be in control of their body during each session and is free to comment on the comfort or discomfort from the amount of pressure or type of stroke used. The client can say “stop” at any time during the session.
  • The massage offered by the Massage Therapist is for therapeutic purposes only. ANY sexually implicit behavior will result in the immediate termination of the session for which no refund will be given.
